School and library programs for all ages, presented by a 20-year veteran of the Chautauqua circuit.  This year's most popular Back-to-School progams, to get students excited about reading and history, combine two authors who wrote the first bestsellers in America history:  Harriet Beecher Stowe, whose Uncle Tom's Cabin was the first book in the world to sell over a million copies, and Laura Ingalls Wilder, whose Little House books were the first multi-volume novel for children, and also sold millions.    

 

Invite Betty Jean Steinshouer to do one or both of these family-oriented programs in your school or community by inquiring about available dates via e-mail below or by calling 727/826-6217.   She is available in communities throughout Florida and along the Gulf Coast to New Orleans from August 19 through September 3, so book your school or library appearances now.  From September 15 to November 8 she will be stopping in communities served by Amtrak, from Fort Lauderdale,Florida to Portland, Maine.  Perfect for both lower & upper Montessori students, as well as a wide variety of social studies, reading, English and History courses.  Other portrayals are also available, as follows:
