School
and library programs for all ages, presented by a 20-year veteran of the Chautauqua circuit. This year's most popular
Back-to-School progams, to get students excited about reading and history, combine two authors who wrote the first bestsellers
in America history: Harriet Beecher Stowe, whose Uncle Tom's Cabin was the first book in the world to
sell over a million copies, and Laura Ingalls Wilder, whose Little House books were the first multi-volume novel
for children, and also sold millions.
