English in the eleventh grade at JCIB, as you can see from the official course title, is packed with material. We will even add the British Literature requirement from the Alabama Course of Study.  This course includes the study of rhetoric as a tool for composition and literary analysis.  We will be engaging in a great deal of discussion and reading as well as composition.  At the end of the course you will be taking the AP Language and Composition test.
