Illinois Central Thrall 52' Gondolas 1964+
This decal set is used to letter the IC 99975-99986 series of 52' Thrall Gondolas, delivered in 1964.
The entire car was painted black. A few cars in this group
were rebuilt with extended sides in 1968 for Carbon Electrode
loading. The rest of the series lasted into the ICG era, and one
car beat the odds, surviving 38 years into 2002.
A detailed lettering diagram is included. This
set includes enough lettering for 2 cars and is printed in black
and white. All you need to provide is the ACI label, if it is
appropriate for your era. The correct gondola kit has been
released by Modeler's
Choice. Look for the #250004 Thrall Gondola kit on their
website.
