"Spirit breathes inside a stone, passion flares in flesh and bone..."

I am a writer, painter, designer, graphic artist, and musician with a deep love for all living things, including pieces of
wood, shards of glass, stones and rocks...
My formal educational background is in the Arts and in the Wisdom and mystical Religious traditions. From my personal
life and healing I bring a studied background in several other areas, including Science of Mind, Twelve Step methodology,
Addiction and Co-dependence, Inner Child/Re-Parenting work, and Re-evaluation Counseling.
I graduated from Meredith College (BA, '74) in Raleigh, NC, with a degree in Art, then briefly attended NC State University
for post-graduate study in psychology, but did not continue in the program because it was not a fit for me. In 2002, I began
graduate studies at Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland, where I was a member of the nation's first Master of Arts class
in Applied Healing Arts (MA, '04). In July, 2004, I was ordained as a Minister in Integrative Healing through the ecumenical
religious organization, AIWP (Association for the Integration of the Whole Person).
