| Hearts & Flowers, A Horse Valentine |
First in a new series of horse paintings. Horses are said to have a "lot of heart", so what better way to honor them
than to paint a horse portrait filled with heart images. They are everywhere. I tried some new techniques, Eastern and Western,
utilizing photos and real life sketches, of horses I have met, for inspiration.

| Roni's Retirement |
This painting is from a photo I took of a therapy horse on his last day at the facility where he worked for many years. I
saw the sadness in his eye. He was retired to a horse rescue. I hope he is happy today.
