Elizabeth Jane Batts, Daughter of Willie Jordan Batts and wife Ann Eliza Poland was born on June 2, 1853,
in what is now Wilson County and died on July 8, 1919 at Elm City. On July 14 1872 she married Council Williams with the Reverand
Hilliard Taylor officiating, son of John Quincie Williams and wife Harriett Batchelor. He was born on August 5,1849, and
died on June 26,1925. He was a blacksmith by trade and also made and sold funeral caskets. He was a very prosperous citizen.
