Saverio (Sam) Janni was born on March 28,1881 in San Pietro, Italy. He died on October 19,1971 in Saginaw
Michigan. He was married to Fortunata Gagliardi on November 14, 1904. She was born in Italy on August 15,1884 and died April
12,1963 in Birch Run Michigan. They had 8 children one which died at childhood. They immagrated to this country and first
lived in Hibbing Minnasota where they recieved their naturalization papers. They then moved to Birch Run, Michigan and was
considered one of the founding families of the community. They had 8 children
Orlando was born in June of 1908. He was self-employed,owning a party store in Flushing. Orlando and his
wife Marie had a daughter, Alma. Orlando died in Feburary 1987. Marie is also deceased.
Fiore was born in November of 1909. He was a farmer in the Frankenmuth, Michigan area. Fiore and his wife
Jean had four children: Bill,John,Carl and Leone.Fiore died in October of 1986.
Victoria was born in August of 1911. She was a homemaker and also worked for Fly-Rite, a supplier of fly-fishing
tackle. She married Nick Diberardino and they had two children, Nick and Victor. Victoria and Nick are now deceased.
Raymond was born in December of 1915. He was self-emloyed,operating a bar in Saginaw Michigan. He and his
wife Alma had two children, Sandy and Carol. Raymond died in November of 1976. Alma is also deceased.
Mario was born in May of 1918. He was a engineer and part-time teacher in Hagerstown Maryland. Mario and
his wife Betty had 5 children, Martha, Jeanette, Patricia, David, and Deborah. He passed away in March of 1995.
Belinda was born in May of 1920. She was a homemaker and also worked at Fly-Rite. She is married to Carl
Dolfi and they had three children. Louise, Barbara and MaryAnn(deceased).
Albert was born in July of 1922. He and his wife Marie had three children: Marge, Linda and Albert. Albert
is retired from General Motors.
William was born in March 11, 1925. He and his wife Gloria(deceased) had five children. Diana, Sam,Denise,Jim
and Susan. Bill was self-employed, operating Janni's Grocery Store.He has remarried to Vera Brewer and they reside in Frankenmuth.
