Galaxy Rangers is being considered for the Boomerang Channel, a spin-off
network from the Cartoon network. For details, go to http://www.betamountain.org
Don't forget all the support going to Cartoon
Network.
Log on to my computer to find this forwarded from Mike Beane of
Betamountain.org. (Original letter has been corrected for grammar).
Mike,
I noticed the April 2nd revision a day later, so you April fooled me all right.
I'd be happy to answer your questions but not now, it's late.
I will tell u that I am very close to working out a deal between Hearst and
(name blanked upon their request) to allow (the company) to release the Rangers
in collectible video and dvd sets.
(Name blanked for their protection), as u probably know, is quite good at
packaging animae on video and they have been all over Rangers for some time.
There are some technical details I still have to work out, the least being
converting the old analog masters over to a digital format. I did 2 tests,
Tortuna and Shoot-Out, and the results were amazing especially with the
sound-surround audio, but with 65 masters, the costs add up.
If I can pull this off, I'd like to discuss using your site for promotion of
the series, I can probably get (blanked) to place your webaddress on packaging
and advertising. This would make you the official site for all Ranger
activities. There may be other ways to expand the site with other goodies and
of course...
The other thing is before I sign off on the sequence of episodes for the
individual sets, I'd like to get you and all the terrific fans that have
supported the series, involved in finalizing the decision. After all, I feel
this is as much your series as it is mine.
Are you interested in this?
Thanks,
rpm

What did you like best?: everything
Comments:
Hearst Entertainment recently has acquired all domestic rights to the 65
"Rangers" eps. which means they now have the rights to air the series
in the US. The problem is that not only is the marketplace more overloaded with
crappy animation then ever, most studios now own their own networks (Disney,
WB, FOX, etc.)which means they only program their own stuff. Any suggestions
should be sent to Hearst Ent. Affirmative action!
Tell them what you think. Thanks for all the continued support. The series was
originally made by a bunch of wise ass kids who thought we could do it better.
We did!
And HOW, Sir Robert!
C'mon, guys. It's just a matter of convincing Hearst that they made a wise
purchace. Send your support of GR to the following:

Others who can help:
Thanks for the support. The
making of the series was a labor of love, which means it was a financial
disaster. But this is a series that won't quit. So never give up, The Galaxy
Rangers are coming back.
