A Wandering Feast is one of the oldest and most respected off premise catering businesses in Durham serving founding family's, the Finer Homes,Universities, Corporations and Philanthopies since 1983. Twenty three years speaks volumes.
A Wandering Feast is booked in advance, clients should lock in on their dates once they decide AWF is right for them. We encourage you to shop around.Price is dependant on you and the budget you have to work with. The level of service, type of menu and all aspects affect pricing but, you are the boss. There are however no hidden charges or arrogant answers to inquiries and all aspects of service provided are clearly discussed and a matter of the invoice. The only fluctuation is service if the job goes over the expected time.
For reservations - contact Jeffrey A. Ensminger, Executive Chef and Culinary Institute of America Graduate. If he is not available someone will take basic information and he will get back to you. You can also e-mail us with your contact information. Please place in the subject line of ANY e-mail in CAPs "A WANDERING FEAST" so you do not get spammed. The further in advance you make reservations the better. A deposit is required to secure a date and dependant on the job size and scope. A 50% deposit is required prior to all events, large or small.

A Chef is a person who passes as an exacting expert, a musician with food, on the basis of being able to churn out, with prolific fortitude, infinite amounts of fabulous food, gathered at its freshest point, to micro-metric precision by persons of questionable I.Q. and mentality with the aid of very expensive "black handled" knives of dubious integrity based on incomplete gastronomic experiments for the avowed purpose of confounding other Chefs, who are already on the lunatic fringe of society.
