more than 3,500 performances in 40 states and Canada. Betty Jean Steinshouer has done 25+ years of Cather research
to bring audiences as close as they will ever get to meeting and conversing with the no-sag author. (As the oldtimers
on Grand Manan, where the reclusive Cather owned a cottage and spent summers from 1921-1940, have been heard to say when
they see the playbill for the one-woman show: "Willa Cather speaks, eh? It's about time.")

exploring Jewett’s annual sojourns to St. Augustine, 1888 -1896, and Cather’s coming
of age as a world traveler, 1890 – 1918. By rail and voyage, each inhabited an ever-expending world.
NOTE: Due to storms off the coast of South Florida and in the Gulf, the New Orleans portion
