Here is a mock up of Lord British's throne room. The basic layout was taken from Ultima 7. The banners are tweaked art from Ultima 9. Personally, it makes me wonder why the original UO team didn't do stuff like this as the Virtue banners really make the place shine. As you can tell, I did not use that silly looking UO throne. I just have a hard time picturing British siting on a bright red and cyan thing with no back support all day.
An idea inspired from the stained glass window in Underword 2. I made this possible addition entirely myself (no art stolen for this one). While it could use some touch up, I am overall pleased at how well it turned out. When the time comes, I'll try some different colours in the glass and see which one looks best.
The stained glass alone didn't seem enough, so a set of colums were removed to make room for new banners. Like the glass, the banners are my own creation. I think this concept looks the best yet.
Here is another version with banners inspired from the ones in Underworld 2. These banners are just "test" pictures. They'll need some tweaking if I ever plan to make final art for them.
