In June, Georgia's Teaching Artists gathered for a two-day conference at the Pinckneyville Community Center in Gwinnett County. A mixture of instruction, creation, and reflection has been designed to spiral into a coherent metaphor for each artist's success. Presenters are expert coaches in the arts and education. Participants will discover natural connections between their art and other core academic subjects...gain new tools for teaching and an expanded network of colleagues and teaching resources.

Registration was free to roster artists thanks to funding from the Georgia Council for the Arts, with additional support from Pinckneyville Community Center [pictured here] and the Museum of Design in Atlanta.
