Thursday evening , June 17th: Artists coming in from afar are invited to stay at the Marriott's Residence Inn, 5500 Triangle Drive, Norcross, GA 30092 where we have a special confrence rate. Just 2.85 miles from the conference facility. This expense will be reimbursed for artists on the GCA's Residency Roster. Contact Cary Cleaver <ccleaver@mindspring.com> for details.
Friday, June 18th, 9am - 5pm and 7-9pm, and Saturday, June 19th, 9am - 4pm: Daytime and evening sessions will be held at the beautiful, new, arts-friendly Pinckneyville Community Center, 4650 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, GA 30071 (Gwinnett County); 770-417-2200. Lunches from Cloudt's Bakery are included in registration; dinner is on your own at area restaurants.
Driving directions to Pinckneyville Community Center:
From Atlanta: Take I-85 North to I-285 West. Take I-285 West to Peachtree Industrial Blvd. North. Stay right at the division with GA 141-Peachtree Parkway and Peachtree Industrial Blvd. North. Continue North until you pass South Old Peachtree, pass one more light and you will see Pinckneyville Community Center on the right.
From Lawrenceville: Take Hwy 316 to I-85 South. Exit on Pleasant Hill Road. Go right on Pleasant Hill Road, then turn left on Buford Hwy. Take a right at South Berkeley Lake. Turn left at Peachtree Industrial Blvd. You will see Pinckneyville Community Center on the left.
From Marietta: Take I-75 South to I-285 East. Take I-285 East to Peachtree Industrial Blvd. North. Stay right at the division with GA 141-Peachtree parkway and Peachtree Industrial Blvd. North. Continue North until you pass South Old Peachtree, pass one more light and you will see Pinckneyville Community Center on the right.
