2001 MSB Blue Chip  by ES Bordeaux X MSB Windwriter/Wigwam.

An elegant mare with feminine features, gorgeous head, and great conformation.  “BC” promises to have the same great rideability as her sire. The Elite Stallion Bordeux was the leading producer of US Hanoverian Mares, 1999-2004, winner at Devon, and long listed for the Olympic Team.   The damline is by Wigwam, who also has offspring ranked in the top 5 at Grand Prix in Dressage for the Hanoverian annual awards.  This mare has exceptional breeding and movement.  Bolero and Grande are important foundation sires in Germany.

Currently in foal for 2009 to Hilltop Farm's ES Contucci. This will be a similar cross as Cabana Boy of Hilltop Farm.  In 2006 Cabana Boy was the 4 year old US Developing Young Horse Champion.

Her sire, Bordeaux was long listed for the USET, trained to Grand Prix, and shown through I-2 and scored an impressive 70% at the Raleigh CDI-W in the I-2 Musical Freestyle. Her dam sire, Wigwam currently has offspring in the top 3 at Grand Prix Dressage in the Hanoverian Horse of the Year rankings. Wigwam was Champion USDF Horse of the Year at I1.  Currently in foal for 2009 to Hilltop Farm’s ES Contucci. This cross is similar to Hilltop Farm’s Cabana Boy, the 2006 and 2008, top Four & Six Year Old, respectively, in the country.  Blue Chip is solidly started under saddle and could easily go first level once she is back in work.  Owner would also consider selling embryos for a breeding to a stallion of your choice.

In 2005, the USEF named Hilltop Farm’s Contucci by Caprimond the Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year based on his offspring’s dressage breed show results.  In 2006, he was ranked third for the Dressage Sire of the Year rankings based on his offspring’s results under saddle career’s and in 2008 he was leading the rankings for this division. He has sired three Reserve Grand Champions at Devon and more USDF’s Breeders Series Champions/Reserves throughout the country than any other stallion.  Blue Chip is small with huge gaits and went on the bit from the day we started riding her.  She has tremendous potential as a riding horse or broodmare.  This 2009 foal will be eligible for the International Hunter and Dressage Futurity. www.breedersfuturity.com   Asking $30,000 for mare and foal or can be purchased separately.
