Century Oaks Farm is currently accepting full and part-time working students age  18 and above.  Preferably some experience with horses. References required and possibly a background check. Must be reliable and have a strong desire to listen and follow instructions.

 

The position would require that you be available 4-6 hours per day, 5- 6 days per week and available to work some weekends. You would have to provide your own transportation.  Currently we do not have living space for students, but would provide assistance in finding housing nearby. In exchange for your time, you would receive one lesson per day and board for one horse.

 

The job would include all of the following:

 

Cleaning stalls and barn

Grooming

Tacking and untacking horses

Cleaning tack

Feeding and watering horses

Dragging arena

Exercising horses

Assistance with medicating horses

Full care of horses on some weekends

other duties may be included as needed

 

Part -time positions are negotiable depending on experience and number of hours available.
