2006 USDF Reserve Champion Mature Mare

In 2006, Cresent was High Score Mare at the American Hanoverian Inspection at Honey Locust Farm in Chapel Hill, NC with an overall score of 7.22.  She also was Reserve Champion Mature Mare at the Raleigh Breed Show and placed third in the Lexington Breed Show to qualify for Devon 2x that year.  In the 2006 Lexington Breed show, in a very large class, she placed 4th in the American Hanoverian Society class.  She was not started under saddle until her fourth year and has only been shown at Training Level once.  She has a beautiful cadenced trot with natural rythm and balance.  Currently she is foal to Hilltop Farm's ES Royal Prince for 2009.  Mare and foal can be purchased for $40,000 or separately.

ES Royal Prince  (grandsires Rubenstein I and  Prince Thatch xx  ) as a five year old won the East Coast Selection Trials for Young Horses with an unprecedented score of 9.82. Later that year, Royal Prince finished fourth place at the World Championships for Young Horses. He was highest scoring Hanoverian at the championships that year, and is highest scoring American horse to date.   He won the US National Championships for Five Year Olds with an overall score of 9.14. In 2008 he competed successfully at fourth level.

In 2005, the USEF named Hilltop Farm’s ES Contucci by Caprimond the Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year based on his offspring’s dressage breed show results.  In 2006, he was ranked third for the Dressage Sire of the Year rankings based on his offspring’s results under saddle careers and in 2008 he was leading the rankings for this division. He has sired three Reserve Grand Champions of Dressage at Devon and more USDF's Breeder's Series Champions/Reserves throughout the country than any other stallion.

Cresent Moon's Dam Sire, Wigwam has had offspring in the top 3 at Grand Prix Dressage in the Hanoverian Horse of the Year rankings. Wigwam was Champion USDF Horse of the Year at Intermediare I.
