Judging 

Denise is a 1994 graduate of the Learner Judge program offered by the United States Dressage Federation.  This is a prerequisite to the USEF "r" program for dressage judges. She is available to judge dressage schooling shows.  USDF "L" Graduates are qualified to judge through second level. 

Teaching

Denise has participated in several USDF instructor certification workshops and a precertification testing.

Other Disciplines

Denise successfully completed the Open Horse Show Judge Training at North Carolina State University.  She was ranked in the top 33% of her class of >100 participants in all three categories of Western Riding, Hunt Seat, and Saddle Seat.

INSTRUCTION
 
Private lessons are available at $45 per 45 minute to 1 hour session at Century Oaks or $50 at your facility plus mileage. Mileage fee depends upon driving distance, time, and number of lessons per site. 
 
Semi-private lessons are $35 /hour.
 
Monthly packages are available and require payment and booking in advance.  4 private lessons at $150. 
 
Training Board and Instruction.  This is recommended for riders who want to participate in a regular lesson program or want additional schooling of their horse by Denise.
 
(Half Training) $500 Board plus $400 for 12 riding sessions or lessons/month
(Full Training) $500 Board plus $600 (4-5 riding sessions per week)/month plus showing if desired. Additional fees will be charged if owner is not available to assist with farrier, veterinarian calls, etc.
Schooling for horse and rider at shows is hourly plus expenses (mileage,etc.)  Included for horses in Full Training.
 
CLINICS -  Minimum of half day $200 plus travel.
                     Full day (8 lessons) $ 400 plus travel.
 
JUDGING - $200 per day  (half days negotiable) plus mileage
 
 
Sorry!  We do not break young horses.  All horses must go walk, trot, canter with rider before acceptance for training.
