It never fails: If I set out to do one thing, what I get will end up being completely different.
On this page, I'll try to explain my process of creating site layouts, and why you'll never know what your gonna get.

Remember version 7, feat. Utada? I don't think anyone liked this layout. I don't think I even liked this layout. I got
tried of those colors~ And the background pattern only confused people more, I think.
And so, it was again time to begin brainstorming a new layout~
|

My first idea was to use an image from the design concepts of a game called 'Magna Carta' (it's Korean, I believe, and they
just thought it sounded cool~). The artwork I've found relating to the game is absolutly beautiful.

Above is the idea I had for a 'Magna Carta' layout (the character pictured is Maya). But I couldn't see how I was going to
get it to work. The faded grey bar behind Maya was going to be difficult to transfer into the site. And Maya herself posed
a problem. So I scraped the idea.
My next batch of ideas~ The brush used is one I made myself, that I accidently used and then realized it looked good. One
version just had the brush in pink (left), and in the other I did an overlay in gray (right). The one on the right was the
one I was gonna go with, and I had actually started uploading it to the site when I started having promblems. The nav for
this version was going to be an image map, but I couldn't remember how to do one

(I had used one a long time ago on a layout feat. Yuko-san from xHolic). Normal text links just didn't look as good. And
as I was going through my computer files, trying to figure out the code I had used for the Yuko layout, I found some screenshots
of my very first layout. The first few layouts were so simple, and as I had been growing, so had the site, and the amount
of code that I used. I wanted to cut back on the coding, and save some space (and time~). So I decided, what the heck?
I took everything off except the site title (the only thing that hadn't changed throughout all the changes~) and decided to
go with that. As a last minute thought, I added the brushes from Crazy Rose so that the layout wouldn't be REALLY boring.
And that was it~ Version 8 was up.
Don't you feel better now that you know?
Tag and tell me if there's any point in continuing this section. Thanks bunches.
