Cleo256's Television Without Pity Pixel Challenges

    Anagrams 2

Anagrams again. Take a TV show, make an anagram of its name, and make an ad for the new show.

Remember Coupling? Eh, you're better off. I tend to think it's better if the anagram says something interesting about the show being anagrammed, instead of being about a completely different show. I didn't do that here, because I liked the joke so much, but it's just not as funny because of it.

Skin was one of Fox's many shows that was overpromoted so much, the viewers became determined not to watch. This is my little anagram parody of its premise.

You can tell I hated Rock Me Baby because I'm mocking it by proxy now. I don't even care about Reba, but she made a good anagram.

I came up with the anagram, and then had to think of a famous Art to plug in. I was stumped. Art Linkletter came to mind, but no one under 40 knows what he looks like. After much brain-wracking, I remembered Art Garfunkel, and I'm really glad I did, because adding Paul Simon made it even better.

This is also an anagram of a totally different show. But Morn Day is too good a concept to pass up. Getting that birthday hat in the pictures is one of the most convincing image manipulations I've done.

This idea was by keckler. After fiddling with Art's Trek, I was happy to fiddle with a different Star Trek logo.

That's a complicated anagram, and it kind of cheats with the "re:", but I liked making this. I actually found the crying cats, so I didn't have to make them.

Check out the translucency in Servo's head so you can see the cat behind him. That wasn't easy.
