This one started out with the idea of Brokaw and Rather sitting in a retirement home. Then I decided they should be doing something, and I came up with prank-calling Peter Jennings. Eventually, I decided the prank call should be the joke and did away with the rest. This was the best picture I could find with them together. I didn't want Cronkite, but he sort of fit and it was easier to leave him in than try to delete him. |

alliterator had shown Angel and Spike as piles of dust, and Sleestak Hunter had shown Illyria escaping the alley and working at TGIFriday's. So I referenced those ideas when I came up with Buffy's ironic arrival in that alley. |
