Cleo256's Television Without Pity Pixel Challenges

    Twisted Titles

Change one letter of a TV show's title and make an ad for the new show.

My life wouldn't make a very interesting TV show. Uh, not that that has any relevence to this pixel challenge entry.

That's actually an older haircut on the actor, so is it still considered an upgrade?

There's so many words you can make by changing a letter in "Jake", and they're all funny when you tack "2.0" on the end. Someone had already done Rake 2.0 (The Ultimate Gardening Upgrade). I think someone got around to Joke 2.0. So many possibilities.

I couldn't decide how obvious to make the taxi sign on top, so I went for something kind of subtle. It was really hard to alter the title logo, and I probably should have just found a decent font.

I loved being able to revisit this, although writing the Dru crazy-talk was a little harder the second time. I'd like to find a challenge where I could fit in a third installment, to wrap it up, since Tru Calling is over now.

As lucky as I was that the Star Wars helmet fit on this picture of Angel, I couldn't find a good pair of glasses to fit him. I wanted some huge plastic frames, but this was all I could get to work. I had to add the pocket protector because I kept thinking the glasses almost looked cool.

I had so much trouble with the peep and the rings. I wanted it huge, but it had to fit inside the inner ring. Now I realize I should have had the peep absorb the inner ring. It would have looked less awkward, and it still would have looked like DS9.

An old trick: when the image doesn't turn out very clear, you explain it all through words. It rarely ends well, and this is no exception.

Also, it keeps driving me nuts debating whether it should be "didn't this use to be Rygel" or "didn't this used to be Rygel". They both look wrong to me.
