Remember, these are unlikely romances. This was just after
the cancellation of Enterprise, and suffice to say this was
not the general tone of the fandom. I love it when I call back to something I didn't expect to. I don't know if anyone else notices, but it amuses me. |

Someone suggested that the line I was trying to quote was from
Angel, and was, "I'm only alive when you're inside me". That's
a funny line, too, but I felt like it was a little too obviously
sexual. Double entendres are only funny when they are double, and
I wanted to make it believable that T'Pol meant to put the sandwich
in her mouth. I never picked on Jolene Blalock's weight before, but in this final season of Enterprise, she'd really been shedding the few pounds she had. She could use to meet a nice sandwich and settle down. |
