Rhode Island Country Horizons (R.I.C.H.) is a state chartered non-profit organization
founded in 1998 by the late Maurice "Popeye" Dickens. R.I.C.H. is an affiliate of the North American Country Music Associations
International (N.A.C.M.A.I.) and a participant in the annual Northeast Invitational Country Showdown.

Rhode Island Country Horizon had another successful year of fundraising for
the Joslin Clinic's High Hopes Fund with the 2007 guitar raffle and benefit. A huge thank you to Frank and Diane
Hyde for once again donating a beauty of a Fender Guitar to be raffled off for this worthy cause, and Congratulations
to Robert Brousseau of Ashaway RI who won the autographed Fender guitar. He is pictured below accepting the
guitar from R.I.C.H. President, Paul Johnson at the High Hopes Benefit held in August.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
AND
UPCOMING EVENTS
Our goal is to support and promote Country Music in all its aspects through our club activities, and to discover and
support new performers who are interested in Country Music through our annual statewide Talent Competition. We have a
full calendar of events, including monthly Country Sunday Jamborees were you can dance, enjoy the music, or perform before
an appreciative audience; an Annual R.I.C.H. Father's Day Steak Fry; an Annual R.I.C.H. Christmas Party; a booth at
the Washington County Fair to promote R.I.C.H. and its performers. We are also a community fund raiser for the Joslin
Clinic's High Hopes Fund for Kids With Diabetes and have raised over $10,000.00 for them through our annual Guitar Raffle
and High Hopes Benefit. We publish a monthly newsletter, HORIZONS, that includes listings of R.I.C.H.
events and R.I.C.H. member band appearances.
