Here
are some sites that attempt to practically address many of the
larger issues raised by the representation of ethnic cultures
using multimedia technologies. Most of these sites are created
by ethnographers. Though ethnography has only recently began
experimenting with cybercasting and multimedia technologies,
there's a lot of exciting sites out there. The Web has the capacity
to become a powerful interactive means of inter-cultural communication.
The space is there. The questions is who will use it and for
whose benefit?
