Burbank Library Panel, May 2008
The Sisters-in-Crime Speakers Bureau sponsored a panel of author discussing the elements of writing including plot, structure, character, and publicity.  I supplied information on structure.  Anyone interested in the handout can click HERE or find the link to the left of this blurb, "About Structure."  If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Student with Sis-In-Crime authors

The Los Angeles Festival of Books, April 2008

The Los Angeles Times Book Fair at UCLA, Sunday, April 27, 2008, found the SoCal writers from Little Sisters, Volume 1 signing at the Sisters-In-Crime booth. Kathleen Piche, Sarah Chen, and I enjoyed introducing new readers to the Shannon Road Press anthology.  Many kids were on a scavenger hunt, busy taking pictures with authors, grabbing autographs, and talking about writing.  Now THAT is a great idea!
