Science Projects Grade Level:
What makes a good science project? Does your investigation have original ideas, questions, and clearly communicated data and results? Solve an old problem in a new way, or explore new areas and techniques. Show that you understand the scientific principles behind your project. Get advice from a science fair judge. Find ideas for wind, solar, and hydro-power energy projects. Harness the energy of a peanut, lemon, or candle. Make a model geo-thermal plant or compressed air vehicle. Experiment with batteries or static electricity.

Experimental Science Projects Grade Level:
Not all fields of science arrive at conclusions in the same way. Learn about the physical sciences, which use experimental forms of the "scientific method." Descriptive sciences, like zoology may use a form of this method that gathers information by visual observation or by interviews. Common within all sciences is the making of hypothesis to explain observations, the gathering of the data and how data is gathered and processed. Learn the steps required in doing an experimental science project using scientific methods.
