Theme: Describing
the Organization and Project or Business Idea:
- Know what six questions a grant proposal should answer.
- Fill out Form 1.1 on page
9 in the Winning Grants book and the Basic Business Form on page 3 of The Successful Business Plan.
- Develop the questions you
would use if you were just starting to work with a client and email to me. We will share these questions identify common themes.
- Note I will be out of town
and offline from Wednesday, March 26th to Monday March 31st.
By Monday of Week 2, please
select the business and/or nonprofit that you want to focus on in completing the exercises
for this course and email me a one-paragraph description.
The organization may be real or invented, but I recommend using a real
idea or business as a base. Fiction can take extra time! On the grant proposal front, I really encourage you to go to www.nonprofitaustin.org, select and contact an organization to work with as a volunteer or to come to me for some leads. Many organizations would
be happy to have your help.
