- A well organized web site containing thousands of links to useful genealogical
sites. This is an excellent site for beginners.
- The Ellis Island
Database
- An extremely popular website for people with ancestors who entered the
United States through Ellis Island. Users should note that Ellis Island was in operation from 1892
to 1924 after which it fell into disrepair. It finally closed in 1954. Successful search results can
be very rewarding, but the searcher must know the correct spelling of the immigrant's
name.
- Poland Border Surnames
- This website has been designed to assist those searching for family in and along the borders of Poland that belong to the Poland Border Surnames Mail List through Rootsweb, whose homepage is located at http://www.Rootsweb.com.
- Polish Language Course
- A site which offers an opportunity to learn Polish for those who want to learn it through the Web.
