Ahhh, what has been on my mind of late? Equality. No, not racial equality. Not gender equality. Age equality. What does the older generation have in their heads concerning their children's generation? I have come to the conclusion that they think my generation is a lost lamb-like generation who needs a hard hand, not a companion and an equal. I think they believe that they need to make up our mind and beliefs for us, because they think we are incapable of doing so ourselves. The more they treat us like rashful teens, the more we will become that. The more they push to smother out the flame of our own personality and the more they ban us from learning from our own mistakes by keeping us caged in the walls of our rooms, the less strong free thinkers of tomorrow will exist. 

 

I do not believe that one is corrupted by mearly being exposed to corruption, unless they choose to be corrupted. In fact, one must learn from the darker half of the world and have been exposed that half before they can truly understand the other side. We may be young, but are we not people? Do we not deserve fair treatment to be viewed as another opinonated growing human being rather than some foolish careless child who is utterly blind. To learn from the world unaided at times is to grow and be strengthened in our own beliefs rather than become a carbon copy of the previous generation and make the same mistakes they did. I refuse to think that just because something or someone or some place is impure, I cannot learn from it. God hides lessons in the most dangerous and chaotic places and those lessons shall be learned at some point in time no matter how hard the older generation tried to stop them from being exposed.

 

I'm sure I'll have more to say later. Somethings cannot be changed or chastised because they are unagreeable. Somethings can be good even if they have the shell a bad.

 

War On Terrorism. Pathetic. Ok, some guy kills my dad because he thinks my dad is a terrorist. What am I going to do, along with all my other siblings? Grow up hating the people who killed my dad and try and get back at them. The more terrorists we kill, the more we make. There is no way to stop it, so try to at least contain it. Heavens, Dubuahs foreign policy is horrific.
