Mr. Lenard worked on the location film production
on Tarantula in the area of lighting; and even ran camera on one scene of the film. Film on location in Columbus, Georgia.
A low budget shocker in the tradition of Carrie and Willard about
a tormented teenage girl (Suzanne Ling) whose family runs and lives in a mortuary. When other kids ridicule her, she unleashes
her horde of obedient tarantulas.
The best scene shows couples making out in a
locked car, not noticing the eight-legged horrors crawling on them. Some good shocks.
