Pirate Uniforms in the Hall of Fame

Last Updated 14 April 1996

I took these photos during my May 1994 trip to Cooperstown.

Note the 1970-style Pirates uniform on the far right. On the far left, you should see the old vest-style Pirate uniform with a black-sleeve undershirt (look for #36). Other notable uniforms here are the A's gold/green uniform, a Seattle Pilots and Washington Senators uniforms too.

On the right is the Pirates Pin Stripe uniform that was part of the 1979 World Championship season. Note the old-style hat with stripes around the cap. Other noteable uniforms here from right to left are the White Sox "softball-style" uniform (thankfully, the shorts and wide collar never caught on), a mustard-colored Padres uniform, a Hank Aaron circa-#715 Braves jersey, the Indians red pajamas, and a White Sox uniform with red stripes.

At Cooperstown, each club has a locker set up similar to this.

Is there something here you like, that needs to be changed,
or would you like to see something that is not included?
