HARBORDALE CIVIC ASSOCIATION

The Harbordale Civic Association was established in 1997 as a Not For Profit Corporation. The City of Fort Lauderdale recognizes our Association as the representative of the property owners, residents and business owners in the Harbordale Community.

The Harbordale Civic Association meets every first Wednesday of the month. Our meetings are open to members and non members. We meet at the Embassy Suites Hotel on the corner of SE 17th Street and Cordova Road. Meetings start promptly at 7:00 pm.

The Executive Board of the Harbordale Civic Association meets on the Wednesday night prior to the regular General Membership Meeting at the Cliff Lakes Pool on SE 14th Place between Cordova and SE 15th Street. The meeting starts at 6:30.

Weather Permitting Starting on February 29

The Executive Board Meetings will be at the Pavilion in Harbordale Park. Meeting starts at 6:30.

Benefits of Joining

There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Only members can vote on issues that come before the Association. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course we also have a common interest, improving the quality of life in our community.

To join the Harbordale Civic Association you must be a property owner, tenant or business owner/representative who lives in or owns property within the Harbordale boundaries. Dues are $15 a year.

From the Harbordale Civic Association By-Laws

"The purpose of the Harbordale Civic Association is to provide a forum wherein ideas and information concerning the improvement or our neighborhood may be discussed and then provide a system through which these ideas and this information may be put into action. We are specifically concerned with neighborhood improvement, safety and security,as well as our community image and lifestyle".
