HAZELBRAND is a family farm and sanctuary, a protected gathering place for artists, horses, herbalists and people looking for a day of quiet and reflection. Here, along the Alcovy River, in the  Southern forests of the Piedmont,  we ply two old-world crafts: that of the hermitage, with Quiet Days, a Prayer Hut and meditation retreats, and that of our cottage industry of soapmaking. Like chefs, we take a few exceptional natural ingredients and let them shine. Our olive oil soaps, named "Editor's Pick" by Natural Health Magazine, are lush, living foods. Like the plants that inspire us, our soaps go about their work, quietly and invisibly, nurturing and nourishing your skin. To us, prosperity is clean air and water, and protecting creation, enjoying it and learning from it, is part of our sacred work.
