I designed this birthday garden for Grandma S. I wanted it to look 3-D so added hand made chocolate flowers (held in with toothpicks), a chocolate signpost, and oreo cookie crumb dirt. The only inedible part of the cake was the ladybird (ladybug to U.S.) candle. One of my pictures shows the caterpillar candle which I originally put on, but having found wonderful napkins with ladybirds on them, I quickly switched candles! I thought the picket fence border would make it look more like a garden.
