Jordan's request for her 6th birthday was a "My Little Pony" shaped large chocolate chip cookie! She was very specific that she wanted it decorated with fondant and chocolate only, and that it should look like the pony character "Strawberry Swirl". I came up with this to try and meet her criteria. I used the old Wilton "Precious Pony" pan that I'd bought on e-Bay a couple of years ago and never had an opportunity to use. It was a bit of an experiment because I've never tried baking a large cookie in a shaped pan before. I was very pleased with the way it came out. God is good! I also had the fun of trying a couple of products I'd not used before - mystical dust edible glitter mixed with clear vanilla extract to paint into some portions of the mane to give it the look of the "sparkly" mane pieces that actually come on "Strawberry Swirl", and confectioner's glaze for the eye to make it shiny. I hope that you like it. It was a lot of fun to make and Jordan seemed very pleased with the outcome.
