This Christmas stocking was made for Jonathan's preschool Christmas party. The idea for turning the teddy bear into a drummer bear was from the Wilton 2001 yearbook. The drum and hat on the bear are made from large marshmallows, and the drum sticks are made from black licorice lace and mini-marshmallows. The colours did not come out very well in the photos. The gift package and bow that look all blue in the photo, were actually a royal blue package with a light violet ribbon and bow! This was one cake that I think definitely looked better in person (or I'd like to think so anyway!). However, I am so glad the children liked both the cake and the party - it was a great deal of fun! I think I enjoyed the occasion as much as they did!
