This cat is a birthday cake for my Father-in-law taken from Betty Crocker's New Cake Decorating. My cake looks substantially different from theirs because I did not want to use coconut as they suggest (see comments about Mum's birthday cake). I used Betty Crocker vanilla frosting which the kids love and gave it the fur effect with a fork.
