MY PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Computers- I became interested in computers in college, and when personal computers became available, I got
one. Computers are tools, but very powerful and useful ones. Most of our communications now are by email.
Outdoors- I am interested in almost anything outdoors. I hunt, fish and camp whenever I can.
Driving Safety- I became interested in driving safety while in military service. I was appointed to monitor
several subordinates' driving. In 1993, I became an instructor for the AARP Mature Driving program, and taught these courses
until January 2006.
Animals- I became a docent at the Memphis Zoo and Aquarium in 1995. I am interested in wildlife and nature.
Mensa(R)- I am very active in my local Mensa(R) group, Piedmont Area Mensa(R). I participate in most activities,
and host events in my home several times a year. I assist with Regional Gatherings in the group, and any other areas where
needed.
