Review of minutes from January 17 and February 21. Board will make formal approval
when minutes are submitted with corrections.
Treasurer report - by Jan Hughen
Lee Conn will audit GA Power Co. expenses for trends.
Retaining wall report - general agreement ready to be signed.
Agree to pay for the storm damaged shrubs on the berm near the Beach property on Markham.
The cost will be $645.00. The items in question
are on Common Property. Beach furnished a boundary plat which confirmed this status. The Board asked Mary to visit Cobb County and obtain
the latest plats which show the actual common areas of The Courtyards.
Chilivis/Butler - agreed to send letter of March 21 from Dorough & Dorough, LLC to Chilivis et al.
regarding the ownership status of their home on Waverly Court.
All board members are elected "at large" and concept of "area representatives" can be counter-productive.
The needed corrections to the directory will be placed on the website.
Water shut-offs - discussed this problem.
We need to take a Two Phase approach:
Phase 1:
a) confirm our map data
b) physically identify and mark all valve locations and conditions
c) update our charts, maps as necessary
d) confirm that valves located do shut off the areas that are intended
Phase II:
After completion of Phase I and review, we can then adopt a plan to repair,
placement and/or add as needed to provide desired functions. O'Callaghan and Carroll will work together
to coordinate these activities.
Pool House: approved quote of 3/1/05 by Parker and Sons Roofing in amount of $2790.00. Told Mary
to award contract.
Bobbie Goodwin noted that "Construction Vehicle Parking Problem" on Courtyard Drive needs to be
monitored and action taken as required.
