Welcome to our web site!

Cedar Ridge High School is located in Hillsborough, NC, USA. We first offered International Baccalaureate classes in 2004. After only two graduating classes, we proudly had 75% of the Class of 2007 obtain their IB Diplomas! We hope to continue that success as our program expands.

NEWS AND UPDATES:
(10/22) IB parents now have access to their very own blog! You can visit it at: www.crhsib.blogspot.com. If you are a parent and you have not received an official invite to take part, please contact Mr. Lowe ASAP.

(10/22) The annual IB fall exhibition will take place in the CRHS Media Center from 6 to 8 on November 12th. Current parents, community members and prospective IB parents are encouraged to attend. There will be an informational session available to those prospective families at 7:30.

7/6 -- WOW! We had another banner year with an overwhelming majority of our seniors garnering their IB diplomas for the 2007-08 school year -- a whopping 79 percent. We are so proud of this group and wish them continued success in college.

4/16 -- The AP/IB test schedule has been updated to reflect start times and locations. Please be at your test site 10-15 minutes before the administration is scheduled to begin!

The International Baccalaureate programme at Cedar Ridge is dedicated to bringing the highest level of academic rigor to our students in an environment that fosters global awareness and a commitment to serving our community.

We feel the IB curriculum is second to none in terms of creating inquisitive minds, problem solvers and preparing our students for the next level of their academic endeavors.

We have consistently scored at or exceeded world averages in our entire Higher Level course offerings. We have highly qualified staff members in place and several more waiting to be trained this summer.

As our numbers grow, we hope to increase the number of course offerings listed by 2010.

Orange County Schools has always shown a deep commitment to education in Hillsborough and the surrounding communities. The support shown by the OCS school board and central office to the IB program is further proof of a dedication to preparing students for the global challenges of the 21st century.
