Kisan Signal Minder - has a number of features, mainly a self-cancelling feature. The R1150R uses the SM-5 model.
Wunderlich sells a cool “stealth” signal unit replacement that mounts under the oil-cooler ducts
Wunderlich also sells clear lenses and amber bulbs for the turn signals, if you want a different look.
The ultimate - at least so far. Kisan's vectraLights - a block with a row of LED's on front and back. Attach it to the bottom of your mirrors or something similar that's sticking out to the sides, and it gives you both running lights AND sequential turn signals. Note that you need rectangular mirrors to make this work right...
For a trick look, replace the roundels on the oil coolers with the lighted version from the Z4 auto. According to BobbyA on the 1150R list: "The dealer that used them on my bike is BMWNY. The phone number is (631)427-4045 or (212)242-1600 and ask for Joel. He can send you whatever you need."

FIAMM has a couple of different models that folks have used: the K95’s are smaller but a littler harsher, the AM80’s are bulkier but have a more pleasing sound, though YMMV
PIAA offers different lights for both car and bike.
Brackets/Mounts
Top Of The Line (marketed by CBTImports) makes PIAA Auxiliary light brackets that mount the 1000X Platinum Series to the turn signal stalks.
RCU makes the same sort of setup...
Martin Fabrication makes PIAA brackets that fasten to the fender mounting bolts.
Driving light switches - a couple of options for controlling your driving lights (beyond whatever switch came with your light)
The "Euroswitch" is the BMW switch used in Europe. Replaces the right-hand control assembly, and includes a three-position switch on the left edge (US assemblies have a blanking plate there) that allows you to control both headlights and driving lights. Link is to CBTImports (pre-modified for the PIAA lights they sell), but most dealers should have it. Search for BMW Part # 61 31 2 306 178. Instructions on installing the switch can be found here.
The AutoSwitch taps into various lines, then lets you use your turn-signal-cancel switch as a light switch by holding it for between 0.8 and 1.8 seconds. CycleGadgets has them, as do many others.
A source for colored bulbs for those who go the clear signal lens route. For red in the rear, use part # LB1156RJ.
Kisan SignalMinder – Has a running light option in addition to it’s signal canceling capability (see above
Lite Buddys – a pair of LED pods (similar to Hyperlites) that are mounted INSIDE the turn signals. The best of of both worlds - add lights, but look stock!

Kisan TailBlazer – Two choices – a replacement bulb or an inline module – that both rapidly flash the stop light for about 4 seconds
Run-N-Lites – replaces the single-filament bulb in your signals with a standard dual filament bulb to give running lights along with signals
Lite Buddies – a pair of LED pods (similar to Hyperlites) that are mounted INSIDE the turn signals. Add a flasher module to really get seen
HyperLites – a pair of LED that can be bracket mounted next to your license plate or anywhere else you desire
Lite-Blazer – a bar with 24(!) LED’s that can be mounted under the license plate. Kinda awkward looking, but talk about visibility!
Gauges and Instruments. There are lots of things that can use extra instrumentation. From oil temperature to charging status, things are out there to give you a more pro-active view of what's going on with your bike.
