March 11, 1941--The Cuban Navy's Howard DGA 8 "Teniente Menendez" visited 22 countries during a 20,000 mile "Good Will" tour of the Americas. Flags representing all of the 22 countries visited were painted on the side of the plane. The aircraft is shown here at the US Coast Guard hangar at Floyd Bennett Field and is also the aircraft in the preceeding film footage still.
