Paul Codos' and Maurice Rossi's Bleriot 110 monoplane, the "Joseph Le Brix" is being readied at Floyd Bennett Field for a flight to the vicinity of Baghdad on August 5, 1933. Two days later, the unusual aircraft landed at Rayak, Syria, establishing a world non-stop distance record of 5,657 miles. The Administration Building can be partly seen at right.
