I, John Henry QUIRINDONGO, was born on February 14, 1933 in NYC at 221 East 26th Street - a clinic of Bellevue Hospital.
I went to Our Lady of Victory and St.Augustine’s schools in the Bronx before going to Cardinal Hayes High for 2 yrs. I went to William Howard Taft High for one yr before joining the Marines at 16 yrs old. During the Korean War, I became a Sergeant serving in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina and Parris Island, South Carolina from Aug 1950 to June 1952. In Oct 1952 I began working in the US Postal Service full time. In October 1952, concurrent with schooling, I worked at the Post Office part time. I returned to Taft High in Sep 1953 and graduated in June 1954.
On the 15th of May of 1955, I married Dorina (Doris) Segarra born February 8, 1937 of Mayaguez, Puerto, Rico and stayed with her for 25 yrs and had 6 children issue of that marriage (John, born 12/26/55, Frank, born 5/14/57, Steve, born 1/31/60, Arlene, born 10/25/61, Becky, born 10/3/68 and JoAnne, born 9/8/69.) During that marriage I lived at 544 St.Pauls Place, 1365 Findlay Ave, 640 E. 137 St and 139 Cypress Ave in the Bronx before buying a home at 744 Vermont St Bklyn when I made supervisor in 1966. I moved to 183 Von Huenfeld in Massapequa Pk on Long Island in September 1969 after making general foreman. I received a College Degree from the University of New York, Albany, NY in 1977.
I separated from my wife in 1980 and lived in Woodside New York. In 1987, I retired from the Post Office to FtLauderdale Florida after working a total 37 yrs of government service.
In July 1998 at the age of 65 yrs, I married Irina Kuzmina Smirnova 45 yrs old of Russia.
