Atlanta's Own FROST -- a local "straight ahead" rock band whose original tunes combine hard rock sensibilities,
crunchy guitar driven melodies, sing-able lyrics, and sultry vocals with a dose of “in your face attitude".
Formed by the principal songwriters from two veteran Atlanta rock bands -- Vinegar Eel and Bliss (Bliss
CD was featured on 99X’s “Locals Only” and 96 Rock’s “Stage96”). In the mid to late 1990's, both bands played out heavily
in the Southeast and locally at The Point, Smith's Olde Bar, Dark Horse Tavern, Dotties, 513, Somber Reptile and The Masquerade.
In October 2001, Frost appeared on the UPN 69 television show “Simboya at Night”, which features independent,
unsigned rock bands, rap and hip hop artists, and in December received an “Honorable Mention” from 99X-FM Locals “Contest”.
Recent performances locally include ones at the 9 Lives Saloon, The Masquerade and Ten-High. And, in Birmingham,
Al at the Hippodrum.
