Money is energy, like
everything else. We pay for services in an exchange of
energy to keep the cycles of gratitude flowing. It is important to offer something in exchange for
receiving, in whatever way we can, so that the circle of giving is fed and
amplified.
For most of the first
10 years with this work, I charged a
set fee while still allowing people to pay less if needed, because it made life
easier in some ways for me (bookkeeping) and for clients (no guesswork). That
fee ($85) was quite reasonable considering the changes that people and their pets were experiencing --
alleviating years (lifetimes?) of painbody symptoms, dependency on medications,
and situations that could not be touched by modern medicine or psychotherapy
(see Shifts Happen!).
But with changes in time
came changes in our financial
situations, and it felt appropriate to adjust. In January of 2011, I let go of a fixed fee and now allow each
person to pay what he or she is able to offer. If we do that with a spirit of gratitude for each other and
the healing we bring, everyone benefits.
You may also make installment
payments if you have a little
now and a little coming your way later. Try to set that up for yourself in a comfortable
manner, taking into account my needs for finalizing books at the end of
year. I prefer not to have to send
reminders, so schedule the payments in your daily logs, but I will do so if I
haven’t heard from you in a couple weeks.
Thank you for your healing
process, as it is for the Whole,
and for helping me to heal and thrive as well!
Peace, Virginia
