Energize Elbert! Discussion Board
Energize Elbert! is an Elbert County citizen awareness, education and action group. We meet every third Thursday of the month. Our purpose is to identify community issues, bring together citizens concerned about an issue (any issue, not just the current ones), and to mentor leadership to form an issue action group.
The action group then obtains the facts, and using the facts, takes appropriate action. As an organization of action groups, Energize Elbert! itself is NONPARTISAN and takes no position on community or political issues. Each action group will develop it's own position on the issue it is addressing. Partisan action is more appropriately pursued through the political parties.
The Discussion Board is used as an ongoing communication tool for Energize Elbert! and the various action groups that are formed. It is open to anyone and is intended to encourage community conversation and information. The most current information regarding meeting times, places, or changes can be found on the Discussion Board.
