Lee has been married to Catherine (Hayes) Holliday, DTM of
Duncan, SC since 1973. In April, 2012, they moved to the Carrollton area of Dallas, TX, where they attend Covenant Church. They formerly resided in Johns Creek, Georgia from 2001 to 2011. While in Georgia, they attended and were active
members of Christ Community Church in Cumming, Georgia. Previously, they lived in Greenville, SC for 13 years.
Lee is a graduate of Furman University with a BA in Sociology and holds two professional designations – Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He is employed by AT&T in Dallas, TX as a Lead Benefits Design Consultant.
Lee and Catherine's daughter and son-in-law, Katrina & Jake Hester, live
in Greer, SC. They are proud parents of Victoria ("Tori") Quinn Hester, born 06/07/08 and Alexis
("Lexi") Elayne Hester, born 03/31/2010. Katrina has a BA in English from Furman University and MA in
English from Clemson University. She is a high school English and Journalism teacher at
Eastside High School and concurrently serves as the Student Newspaper Faculty Sponsor. She previously taught English
at Clemson University for 4 years. Jake holds a BS and MBA from Clemsom University and is employed by Fluor
Corporation as a senior financial analyst. Jake consistently took first and second place in past years' statewide
Their son and daughter-in-law, Trey & Theresa (Kelley) Holliday,
live in Spartanburg, SC. They beam with pride over their daughter, Adelei ("Addy") Rhiannon Holliday, born 03/09/09.
Trey is employed with Dish Network in Spartanburg, SC. In addition, he is a published author of poems
and short stories, some of which are available on various websites. Theresa works for the Spartanburg County

at home. He was adopted as a pound pup in April 2000. He's a mix between a Springer Spaniel and a Labrador Retriever,
weighs about 40 pounds and is Lee's best buddy!
Lee is very active in Toastmasters and is currently a member
of Roving '49ers and Covenant Voices Toastmasters Clubs in Texas. He has served in most Club offices,
including President of seven different clubs, leading all seven to President's Distinguished status.
Lee served on the Board of Directors for Toastmasters International as
the Director from Region VIII for 2007-2009. Previously, he was District Governor for Georgia Toastmasters for
the 2006-2007 Toastmasters year, leading the District to #6 in the world - a President's Distinguished District.
He also served District 14 (Georgia Toastmasters) in the prior 5 years to that as Lieutenant
Governor Education and Training, Lieutenant Governor Marketing, Public Relations Officer, New Club Sponsor and Mentor Chair,
and Club Extension Chair.
On May 13, 2011, Lee won FIRST PLACE in the District 14 Table Topics Contest at the Georgia Toastmasters Spring
Conference. The next day, he was recognized for completing 9 Toastmasters educational achievements - including his second
Distinguished Toastmaster Award - for the 2010-2011 Toastmasters year. Both of the clubs for which he was serving
as President were recognized as "Over-Achiever" Clubs, having already qualfied as President's Distinguished Clubs for the
