Didjeridu Listserv Page

If you would like to join the famous didjeridu mailing list, here is the procedure:

Please note that as of this update 2/6/99 the didjeridu mailing List from the Mills College is again non-operational!
This list tends to oscillate between operational and non-operational due to server problems, however there is an alternative list with a few of the users from the previous list:
Joyousnoise Listserv

Send an e-mail message to "listproc@eartha.mills.edu" with "subscribe didjeridu " written in the message body. No subject should be chosen in the subject window. You should start getting mail from the list in a couple of days. If not, you can then send a follow-up letter to the list owner - "toyoji@mills.edu".

The listprocesor's default setting doesn't send you copies of your own posts. You can change this by sending the following command on a line by itself in the message body (i.e. nothing in the 'Subject' heading) to listproc@eartha.mills.edu: set didjeridu mail ack

To change the list generation to Digest Mode, use the following command to listproc@eartha.mills.edu "set didjeridu mail digest". Of course, no subject is needed.

The procedure for unsubscribing is the same as above, except you must replace "subscribe didjeridu" with "unsubscribe didjeridu".

WARNING: You must be willing to receive an average of 10-20 mailings per day, with a maximum occasionally reaching 70-90 on the busiest days. The alternate list provided by Joyousnoise.com gets much less traffic.
