In 1996, Karl Kalbaugh a list member, produced the first CD consisting of 33 separate 2 1/2 minute recordings of various list members and friends. This CD was paid for by those who participated in producing the musical clips. A 30 second clip of my submission can be heard on the Sounds Page. On Thursday, 18 September 1997, Karl officially opened up submission guidelines for the second of these list-created CDs. Then, on Oct 14 David Blonski picked up the production of the DP02 project. Since the project started out as a communal effort involving members of the Famous Didjeridu Mailing List, David delegated several key positions by simply offering them via our mail list. I chose the liner editor and website editor position. Brandi Chase chose to do the graphics package for the CD case. Then, I asked Ken Woodruff if he would be so kind as to offer his expertise concerning the background, font colors, and headliner graphic for the website. And he came through quite nicely, as you can tell! He also provided a few helpful hints with my own novice html coding. Another person who deserves mention is John Snyder, who offered to house both AIFF and MPEG formatted sounds which will be linked to the website, making this site a fully audio-visual experience!
